24 September 2018 – Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana have successfully defended their COSAFA Women’s Championship title. They won all their five matches (Madagascar 2-1; Botswana 1-0; Malawi 6-0; Uganda 2-0; Cameroon 2-1) in the 2018 edition of the competition – scoring 11 goals and conceding just two. Captain of the squad Janine van Wyk – who reached a milestone 152 caps in the tournament – talks about how they did it and how it help them going forward, with the upcoming Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Ghana in November:
